Reading is a great way to improve your English. With these readers, you can choose a level which isn’t too difficult, but also not too easy you. Remember that reading should also be fun. Before you do any exercise, try to read the book without the help of a dictionary and just enjoy the story. When answering the questions, take some time to think about the answer.

  1. Where and when does the story take place?
  2. Explain the title of the story.
  3. Write a few sentences about the main character (name, appearance, personality)
  4. What do you like and don’t you like about the main character?
  5. Who are the other characters in the reader and who are they?
  6. Who is your favourite character and why?
  7. Write the plot of the story in your own words (4-6 sentences).
  8. Write down an appropriate title for 3 of the chapters
  9. What can we learn from the story?
  10. Write down 5 (new) words of phrases that you like
  11. Is there something in the story that you liked very much?
  12. What is your opinion of the story?
