Reading is a great way to improve your English. With these readers, you can choose a level which isn’t too difficult, but also not too easy to understand. Remember that reading should also be fun. Before you do any exercise, try to read the book without the help of a dictionary and just enjoy the story. When answering the questions, take some time to think about the answer.

  1. Explain the title of the story.
  2. What is the setting of the story (places, time)
  3. Describe the main character.
  4. Does the main character change during the story?
  5. If you were the main character, would you do something different? What?
  6. Who are the other characters and what is their part in the story?
  7. For each chapter, write down what happened in one (not too long) sentence.
  8. What are some of the main turning points in the plot?
  9. Write down an appropriate title for 3 of the chapters
  10. Does the story provide the reader with a message?
  11. Is there anything in the story that you particularly liked?
  12. What is your opinion of the story?
