Reading is a great way to improve your English. With these readers, you can choose a level which isn’t too difficult, but also not too easy for you. Remember that reading should also be fun. Before you do any exercise, try to read the book without the help of a dictionary and just enjoy the story. When answering the questions, take some time to think about the answer.

  1. What is the setting of the story (places, time)
  2. Explain the title of the story.
  3. Write a few sentences about the main character (name, appearance, personality)
  4. What do you like and dislike about the main character?
  5. Who are the other characters and who/what are they?
  6. Who is your favourite character (and why)?
  7. For each chapter, write down what happened in one (not too long) sentence.
  8. Write down an appropriate title for 3 of the chapters
  9. Does the story provide the reader with a message?
  10. Write down 10 (new) words of phrases that you like.
