Reading is a great way to learn more English. With these readers, you can choose a level which isn’t too difficult, but also not too easy for you. Remember that reading should also be fun. Before you do any exercise, try to read the book without the help of a dictionary and just enjoy the story. When answering the questions, take some time to think about the answer.

  1. Where and when does the story take place?
  2. Write a few sentences about the main character (name, appearance, personality) (main character – főszereplő; personality - személyiség)
  3. What do you like and don’t you like about the main character?
  4. What was the biggest problem the main character faced?
  5. Who are the other characters in the reader (and who is your favourite)?
  6. Write the story in your own words (4-5 sentences).
  7. Choose the most important word from each chapter (chapter - fejezet).
  8. Write down a title for 3 of the chapters.
  9. What can we learn from the story?
  10. Write down 5 (new) words of phrases that you like (phrase - kifejezés).
  11. Is there something in the story that you liked very much?
  12. What is your opinion of the story?
